David R. Francoeur

David R. Francoeur was born in Camrose and is a fifth generation Camrosian. Raised in Lethbridge, he returned to Camrose to obtain his B.A. at Augustana. David furthered his education at the University of Calgary and University of Montreal, before obtaining his law degree at the University of Wales in the United Kingdom. David articled and worked at Swist and Company in Edmonton in 1996. As an in-house counsel, he worked for various public companies in London, Dublin and Singapore from 1996 through 2005.

David is currently a Counsellor for the City of Camrose.  He is a Past President of The Bailey Theatre Society, past St. Mary’s Hospital Community and Foundation Board Member. David also volunteered his time as the Vice Chair of the Downtown Camrose Board (Camrose Business Revitalization Board). As well, David is a member of the Camrose Rotary Club and the Elks Club of Camrose.

David currently practices in the areas of business law, real estate, wills and estates and litigation. Currently, David and his wife, Sharon, are raising three young children.
